The question I get asked the most about NetSuite is: How much does it cost?

And the answer isn’t always straightforward.

To be completely honest there’s just too much of a difference between how much NetSuite can cost you and how much NetSuite will cost you.

Every business is unique in what they need and how they operate. From modules and users to integrations and data migrations, every company is different.

How Do I Select My Suite? Which Option Is Best For My Company?

Firstly, your NetSuite licensing cost is based on 3 core factors:

  1. Your total number of employees. This will determine the right Suite for your business when implementing NetSuite.
  2. How many of your employees will need full-user licenses versus how many will need self-service user licenses?
  3. The number of legal entities or subsidiaries your company owns in countries across the world.

Starter, Mid-Market, or Enterprise?

For most businesses under 50 employees, NetSuite Starter Edition is the recommended choice. In terms of licenses, we usually see a need for 6 to 10 users. For more information, you can explore Starter Edition here.

For companies that need more than 10 user licenses or have several legal entities around the world, the NetSuite Mid Market edition is your best choice.  It’s a more comprehensive package that comes with additional modules to handle specific functions based on your industry and business requirements. Get more information here.

If your company needs more than 150 users, you’ll need the NetSuite Enterprise Edition. With this edition, NetSuite offers additional out-of-the-box functionality, including many modules in addition to financial management, such as NetSuite OneWorld—for handling acquisitions and managing multiple subsidiaries in different currencies.
