For this demonstration I’ll demonstrate how easily a contact submitting a form on your website is ported over to your NetSuite instance and is ready to contacted.
First, a lead submits their information to you through your website by form, livechat, or otherwise.
Then, that lead’s contact and company card are generated within your HubSpot Hub.
Finally, that information is transferred directly to your NetSuite instance where your sales team can begin contacting that lead or open the company card in HubSpot by using the link in the HubSpot subtab located within NetSuite.

The HubSpot to NetSuite Integration by GURUS Sample Use Case
GURUS Solutions is one of North America’s biggest Oracle NetSuite and Boomi partners. The company relies on the efficiency and expertise of its marketing and sales teams to bring and convert leads into new customers.
With teams working out of Montreal, Chicago and New England, a crucial component of a day at GURUS is the ability to access unified data in real-time across multiple platforms.
While the marketing team relies on HubSpot as their hub to bring in leads through outbound and inbound marketing, the sales team uses NetSuite as a CRM, to process incoming leads and keep track of prospects to be converted within the sales cycle. Finally, the company’s management oversees marketing and sales initiatives in both systems.
HubSpot and NetSuite offer each team crucial tools to achieve excellence in sales and marketing. This meant a marketing employee was assigned with the task of exporting lead information from HubSpot, and importing it into NetSuite.
The needed information included the contact information, an engagement report and a lead score to prioritize leads. This process required selecting specific fields in HubSpot, exporting this information in a spreadsheet, mapping the information in NetSuite and importing it. Three imports were necessary to accomplish this task.
This manual process quickly showed its limitations, with various error-prone and time-consuming tasks every week. This required a morning’s work every week for a marketing employee and a NetSuite specialist, which slowed down the process and impacted productivity, communication and efficiency. To add to the complexity of the initiative, the sales team updates information in NetSuite which needs to be updated in HubSpot as well, therefore creating a need for another step in the process.
As a Boomi partner, GURUS requested its in-house cloud specialists to develop a new connector. This enabled a two-way data flow between HubSpot and NetSuite. This solution eliminates manual work altogether by automatically pulling data from HubSpot into NetSuite and back in real-time.
This means that when GURUS’ marketing team brings in a new or existing lead through HubSpot’s automated process, this information gets added to modified automatically in NetSuite for the benefit of the sales team. If the sales team modifies a lead in NetSuite, the marketing team’s information is also updated in real-time in HubSpot.
Both the sales and marketing teams at GURUS now work from the same single source of data in their respective environments, which increases productivity while strengthening their operational excellence.
