Hey everyone, my name is Martin McNicoll, and I am the founder of GURUS Solutions, one of the largest Oracle NetSuite Partners in North America.
Today, I want to talk to you about something that is very close to my heart.
For a long time now, it has been my own personal mission to give back to the community in a way that I can make a difference.
What is it that I do? I help companies scale-up with the Cloud.
This is where my GURUS for GOOD initiative comes in. I want to help non-profit organizations in Canada and the U.S. to scale up their good work and the aid they provide to their local communities.
How? We will help these organizations to move their operations to Oracle NetSuite for free.
All right, but what can you do with a system like NetSuite?

But before I talk a little bit more about that, let me give you some context about who I am and why this cause is so important to me today.
I was born in the suburbs of Montreal, to a typical middle-class family. Disaster struck when I was fourteen, my family broke down. I went through four foster families and just as many high schools while growing up.
I am where I am today because, throughout my life, I received support from organizations that strive to help communities support community members going through difficult times. GURUS exists because my community believed in my potential to overcome my circumstances.
For years now, I’ve been involved with nonprofit organizations. As a corporate donor and as a board member.
There are too many people out there who still need help, and who have the potential to become leaders. If your organization brings good to the world, I want to hear from YOU.
