Description
Business Analyst (BACoE)
The Business Analyst is the documentation engine and methodology guardian of the Business Analysis and Architecture Center of Excellence (BACoE). In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that business requirements are captured with clinical precision and translated into formats that are easily digestible by our clients, and that our technical teams can execute.
If you love turning messy client conversations into clean, structured requirements and have a knack for coaching others on best practices, we want to meet you!
How you’ll spend your time:
1. High-Impact Project Delivery (40-60%)
- Requirement Elicitation: Support Project Team in workshops to translate raw business needs into structured User Stories.
- Process Mapping: Use Lucid to create high-fidelity BPMN 2.0 process maps that visualize how a business operates today versus how they will operate in NetSuite.
- Visual Design & Logic: Utilize appropriate visual tools to verify complex logic and UI needs before the build phase (e.g. Decision table, Wireframe, User case modeling) Traceability: Own the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure every requirement is accounted for from design to UAT.
- User Test & Training Support: Assist Project Team in drafting user test scripts and client-facing training manuals tailored to the client specific requirements.
2. Practice Enablement & Coaching (40-60%)
- The GURUS BA Toolkit: Build and maintain our standardized library of BA templates.
- Consultant Coaching: Act as a "BA Helpdesk," guiding project teams on how to apply BACoE standards so they never have to reinvent the wheel.
- Quality Gatekeeping: Perform spot checks on documentation across the department to ensure our quality benchmarks are met.
- Knowledge Management: Lead mid and post-mortems and compile reusable assets to help the whole company level up.
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technical documentation.
- A degree in Business Admin, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Structural Logic: You can distill complex information into logical "if/then" steps.
- BA Fundamentals: Proficiency in BPMN 2.0 and User Story writing is a must.
- Meticulous Organization: You take pride in "clean" artifacts and have a fanatical attention to detail.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills in both English and French. You can communicate with a technical developer and a non-technical business owner with equal clarity. * This position requires proficiency in a language other than French due to the fact that 75% of our clients operate in English
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required, including to the United States. Candidates must be eligible and able to travel internationally.
Bonus Points for:
- Formal BA training (BABOK) or certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC).
- Previous exposure to the NetSuite ecosystem or ERP concepts.
