Thanks to customized integrations and a solid supply and demand chain, there is no more use for antiquated scrolls. Ever since implementing NetSuite, modern systems with scanners and barcodes have helped Santa Claus control his inventory so no gift is late, or worse, left behind.

Hi, my name is Kris Kringle. I’m the founder and CEO of the single biggest manufacturing warehouse in the world, Santa’s Workshop. Some of you probably know me better as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, or even Saint Nick.
Over the centuries, we’ve managed millions of orders and often ran into inventory issues. You try using scrolls for handling transactions!! After the out-of-stock crash of ‘98 and finding myself on my own naughty list, it was time to rethink our current systems…
NetSuite was an obvious choice for its cloud-based solution and customizable software. We haven’t been out-of-stock in decades thanks to better forecasting and tightened control over the full inventory lifecycle.
Our warehouse has been so organized, we could easily have Christmas all year round! Our elves have replaced their scrolls and pens with scanners and barcodes so all presents are accounted for from letter to sleigh.
And thanks to top-notch integrations, we have been on the ball with suppliers as we can easily access data on pick, pack and shipping management. If there’s ever a delay in our supply chain or containers, we can easily figure out how to manage our inventory through real-time dashboards and analytics.
We have become so successful, thanks to NetSuite, we even had time to launch a marketing campaign through NetSuite CRM. With the dwindling number of children in the 0-12 demographic, we started targeting adults and have now launched an adult toy (no, not that) marketplace available all year round. It couldn’t have been done without NetSuite’s marketplace reconciliation solution.
GURUS has been incredible to work with. Here over at Santa’s Workshop we have spent our whole lives using a legacy system. Moving to a much more modern ERP software was scary and involved a lot of talks with our stakeholders, but thanks to the guidance of the GURUS team, they were with us from beginning to end with the implementation, configuration and optimization of NetSuite for my unique business challenges.
